wax Myrtle
This evergreen is commonly found in moist, sandy soil, in
fresh or slightly brackish banks, swamps, flatwoods, pinelands, and even
upland hardwood forests. This extremely tolerant shrub can grow to about
30 feet tamm nad can withstand nearly all soil types.
